Abstract

The number of people increase, but the agriculture land and sweet water resources are reduced year by year. The conclusion is very clear: we need innovative technologies to produce more high quality food with improved living standard. We should analyze this problem in the context of Polish situation but in relation to United Europe as well as the whole world. We should run the analysis in the following aspects: i) Bioeconomy and agrobiotechnology; ii) The products available for average consumers; iii) Legislation domestic and international; iv) Perspectives.
