Abstrakt

Genetically modified food and feed (GM food and feed) play more and more significant role on the market. The GM products are for 15 years on market and nothing happened. The public perception is critical for future development of GM food market. We have to recognized all possible risk based on scientific, reproducible data not on common opinion of lay people. The expert’s opinion (including domestic research) should be taken into account for planning the future of Polish food and feed production as well as for further formulation of legislation.
