The ceiling effect and educational inequalities

Abstract

Author stands that despite the education system fulfils social expectations and offers full access to the higher education (“the ceiling effect”) the inequalities still persist. These are the inequalities of education quality, quality of life based on it. They are evoked by primary differences in social position of one’s family that are solidified during socialization and inculturation.
