Science communication in Poland in 2016

Abstract

There exist multiple forms of science communication in Poland: Science Festivals, science picnicks, Science Centers, various foundations, European Projects, Universities for Children and for Seniors and last but not least many minor initiatives like Sciene Cafes, Oxford Debates, etc. Science is presented in various  media: newspapers, weeklies, monthly magazines, national and local radio and TV stations. Many blogs and fora exist in the internet. In short, this list shows important involvement of scientists and the existance of influential social activities. The question who and how supports financially all these rich offers, the most important for the future of science communication field in Poland, is not discussed.
