Abstract


This paper focuses on the Lvov-Warsaw School, an important branch of analytic philosophy. The origin of this school is presented as well as its development and historical significance. In particular, it is stressed that the Lvov-Warsaw School overcame the delay of Polish philosophical thought as compared with Western philosophy.
