Abstract


If we want to have a strong impact on the development of our country, our economy, we cannot afford to spend the last large financial support from the EU budget (the 2014-2020 perspective) on short-term goals and ostensibly catching up with those better than us. The chance to improve our innovativeness lies in long-term investment in key areas that determine its standard: education based on creativity, sciences initiated by cognitive curiosity and incentives for business eliminating the risk that investing in scientific research involves.
