Edukacja, nauka i kultura – kluczowe determinanty przyszłości Polski

Abstrakt

In the article the significance of education, scientific research and culture for the future of Poland is discussed. The author argues that a long-term strategy for development of these areas  crucial for the Polish future. The article identifies weaknesses – and suggests possible improvements – in the so far national policies regarding education at all levels, organization of the research sector and the role of the state in fostering the cultural heritage and supporting new creative initiatives.
