Crawford’s new predictive theory of evolution
Abstract
M.A. Crawford reinterpreted the existing theory of evolution, which considers the important role of the natural selection and accidental mutations in evolution, and suggested that the development of life and subsequent evolution of living organisms was determined by the availability of proper substances to build the organisms, in the environment. The driving force of evolution is the determination of physical and chemical conditions present in the environment. They are the predictive force of evolution.
